From a Whisper commemorates the 10th anniversary of the terrorist bombing of the US Embassy in Nairobi in 1998. Over 250 people died and more than 5,000 injured. The film shows the lives of the victims and perpetrators, while Tamani, an angry and rebellious Muslim teenage girl whose mother went missing during the bomb blast, struggles to come to terms with her own motherless identity.
